Kelly Brook prepares for her I’m A Celebrity return by testing dozens of bikinis with the wardrobe team in the Australian jungle

Long before Instagram influencers and reality TV fame, Kelly Brook was one of the most recognisable faces on glossy magazine covers.

Those days might feel like a lifetime ago, but this year she’s stepping back into a familiar role—as one of I’m A Celebrity’s newest “pin-up” stars.

And according to her, she’s not leaving anything to chance, especially when it comes to her jungle wardrobe.

Bikinis, Cameras and a Very Thorough Wardrobe Check

Kelly, now 45 and still working regularly as a presenter and broadcaster, admitted she packed an impressive selection of swimwear for her time in the Australian outback.

“I’ve brought loads,” she laughed. “All kinds of brands, all styles—you name it.

But I don’t even get the final say. They’ve all been sent off to wardrobe to see how they look on camera.

Once they’re tested, they’ll choose for me.”

It’s a far cry from her early tabloid days, but Kelly knows the public’s eyes will be on her again the moment she steps under that famous jungle shower.

Embracing Change and Letting Go of Old Comparisons

Despite her roots in the modelling world, Kelly is realistic about how much life has shifted since she was a teenager on Page Three.

“I’m definitely not the 20-year-old bikini model I used to be,” she said honestly.

“Bodies change, life moves on, and I hope people watching will be kind about that. I’m proud of who I am now.”

About to celebrate her 46th birthday in the Jungle, she insists she feels healthier and more self-assured than ever.

“I feel strong. I feel confident. I’m happy with my curves. I’m really embracing the body I have.”

Following in Famous Footsteps—But Not Imitating Them

Of course, any woman entering I’m A Celebrity knows there’s one legendary moment looming over them: Myleene Klass in the white bikini.

The 2006 shower scene is still widely regarded as one of the most unforgettable moments in the show’s history—so memorable, it’s often credited with helping Myleene finish as runner-up.

Kelly admitted the two had a chat before she flew out.

“Myleene did warn me about the shower,” Kelly said.

“She told me she didn’t even have the right bikini when she landed and had to rush out and get one. So I thought I’d be clever and pack loads.”

But she insisted she isn’t walking in expecting to recreate lightning in a bottle.
“That white bikini moment for her—there was no planning.

It just happened. It was fate. Trying to copy that would be impossible.”

A Life of Glamour, Spotlight and High-Profile Relationships

Kelly’s personal life has always kept the tabloids busy.

She famously dated Jason Statham during the height of his early career, with their relationship lasting well into the 2000s.

Later, her romance with rugby star Danny Cipriani also became headline material.

Now, however, life looks quite different. She’s settled, married, and content.

Kelly tied the knot with fellow model Jeremy Parisi three years ago—and preparing to leave him behind for nearly a month came with its own set of worries.

The Real Concern: What Will Her Husband Eat?

While many contestants dread creepy crawlies, hunger or long nights outdoors, Kelly was thinking about something far more domestic.

“Honestly, I was more nervous about Jeremy being left at home than I was about going into the jungle!” she joked.

“I spent ages prepping all the dog food before I left, and I’m still not sure what he’s going to eat while I’m gone.”

Still, she says he’s fully supportive—if slightly helpless in the kitchen.

A Star-Studded Line-Up Down Under

Kelly won’t be short of company. This year’s camp list includes an eclectic mix: Spandau Ballet icon Martin Kemp, viral personality AngryGinge, Jack Osbourne, and rapper Aitch, among others.

Between the nostalgia, the glamour, the nerves and the jungle chaos, she’s stepping into the show with a sense of humour and a clear message: she’s not trying to be the girl she was at 20.

She’s bringing the woman she is at 46—and loving it.
