Saturday, after uploading a diatribe about Jewish people, rapper Kanye West received additional antisemitism allegations.
The rapper and fashion designer stated that he was “doing death con 3 on Jewish people” in a now-deleted message that violated Twitter’s guidelines.
West said that he could not be antisemitic since “black people are essentially Jews.”

West rejoined Twitter, from which he had been absent since November 4, 2020, when his Instagram account was suspended following a week of rants on the platform. Instagram confirmed to Insider that it has suspended West’s account, but did not explain which post violated its terms of service.
Elon Musk tweeted to Kanye West after his comeback to Twitter on Saturday, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend.”
Twitter users were quick to call out the rapper for antisemitism and Fox News host Tucker Carlson for facilitating his sentiments by interviewing him on Friday.
After images and videos of Kanye West wearing a hoodie with the words “White Lives Matter” appeared on Monday, prominent Republicans including Candace Owens, former congressional candidate Laverne Spicer, and the Republican House Judiciary Committee defended him.
West, a buddy of former President Donald Trump, performed the prank during Paris Fashion Week as part of his YZYSZN9 show. The wording on West’s sweatshirt, according to critics, is associated with white nationalist movements.

The American Jewish Committee slammed the rapper on Saturday for a Friday interview with Tucker Carlson in which he questioned the intentions of Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and former adviser.
During the conversation, West said that Jewish Kushner orchestrated the Abraham Accords — pledges of peace between Israel and other Middle Eastern nations — in order to “earn money.”
West also released supposed images of texts he allegedly wrote to Sean “Diddy” Combs, in which he vowed to use Combs “as an example to teach the Jewish people who encouraged you to call me that no one can intimidate or influence me.”
West and Twitter representatives did not respond to Insider’s request for comment.
