Kaizer Chiefs to rebound vs TS Galaxy

When Kaizer Chiefs play TS Galaxy at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, they’ll be trying to recover from their loss to Chippa United.

Given that Chiefs had a three-match winning run before to their 2-1 loss to Chippa on Saturday at Moses Mabhida Stadium, the setback temporarily halted their momentum.

Amakhosi gained momentum in three straight Premiership wins against SuperSport United, Swallows FC, and Stellenbosch FC before to their loss to Chippa.

Chiefs have accumulated 17 points after 11 games, placing them in fourth place overall in the Premiership rankings. Coach Arthur Zwane expressed disappointment at his team’s momentum being lost after the Chiefs’ loss to Chippa, noting that they had dominated the game’s pace.

“I feel more than simply let down. Regarding the outcomes, I do believe that this might have been a great gift for the chairman, particularly if they were playing at home, Zwane remarked.

In terms of not losing games at home, “we were on a run. Another thing that disappoints me is that.

“We easily could have given the chairwoman a thoughtful gift. I detest losing, particularly in games like this when we briefly had the initiative.

Zwane bemoans Chiefs’ most recent defeat to Chippa, although TS Galaxy have lost their past seven league games.

Following a 0-0 tie with Swallows at Mbombela Stadium, TS Galaxy enters the game in 11th place overall.

The results of TS Galaxy’s past five games, which include three losses and two draws, are also not encouraging.

Former Chiefs player Bernard Parker expressed his excitement at the idea of playing his old team in a pregame interview.

Parker remarked, “I hope I have a warm greeting and a welcome back.

“As a result of what I did there, I want to get it. I’ve accomplished a lot over the last 11 years, so I’m hoping for a warm welcome. The emotion has not yet really sank in.

“Once I get onto the FNB Stadium, I’m certain everything will become clear. I’m experiencing it for the first time, and I’m at a loss for words to express it.

“I don’t know how I’ll feel on the day, but I’m looking forward to it and hoping it will be a warm sensation on the day,” the speaker said.
