Kaizer Chiefs have officially made their second MAJOR signing in preparation for the 2022-23 PSL season.
On Tuesday, Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker confirmed that Zitha Kwinika is on his way back to Naturena.
This after the two teams – Stellenbosch and Chiefs – agreed a transfer fee for Kwinika with the player also agreeing terms personal teams with his boyhood club.
Barker wished Kwinika well at Chiefs but warned that Stellenbosch will be coming for him and his new teammates on the pitch next season.

BARKER CONFIRMS KWINIKA’S MOVE TO KAIZER CHIEFS
“I’d like to wish Zitha well. He’s going back to his boyhood club, where he’s developed,” Barker said as quoted by IDiskiTimes.
“Zitha will go back to Kaizer Chiefs, he deserves everything of the best. We wish him well, but be aware, we’re coming for you next season.”
Kwinika becomes Amakhosi’s SECOND signing ahead of the new season after Siyethemba Sithebe of AmaZulu.
Sithebe signed a pre-contract with Chiefs in January but he couldn’t move to Naturena after AmaZulu refused to enter into negotiations for his early release.
He was subsequently frozen out by AmaZulu who felt disrespected that the midfielder chose to move to Chiefs instead of renewing his contract with them.
Nonetheless, Sithebe will finally get to make his move to Chiefs at the end of June, and unite with his new teammates, including Kwinika.
