Kaizer Chiefs have opted to not extend Ramahlwe Mphahlele’s contract

When Ramahlwe Mphahlele’s contract expires at the end of the month, Kaizer Chiefs have decided not to extend it.

The talented defender joined Chiefs from Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the 2016/17 season. On the first day of the DStv Premiership season, against Wits, he made his Amakhosi debut. During his six seasons with the Glamour Boys, he appeared in 127 official matches while working with various coaches.

He wore the captain’s armband for Amakhosi several times due to his leadership on and off the field.
