Update on the injured Orlando Pirates star Paseka Mako

Mako and Ofori both ran for the same ball in an attempt to protect their goal posts, with the latter acting as a sweeper.

However, the situation deteriorated to the point where there was blood everywhere and Mako required immediate medical assistance on the pitch.

The medical team was also forced to summon an ambulance, which eventually transported Mako to the hospital because his condition did not appear to be improving.

Now, after having to wait until after the game, the Pirates medical team informed SuperSport TV that Mako had suffered concussion.

And the fact that Mako had to be rushed to hospital clearly points to the seriousness of the injury the Pirates man suffered in the process.
