Joss Stone is gearing up to welcome her newest little one, and things are shaping up to be pretty hectic but exciting for the singer and her family.
Just days before her scheduled C-section, Joss shared a lively update on her pregnancy bump — and it turns out her family’s busy schedule isn’t slowing down one bit.
Joss Shares a Bump Update and Some Crazy C-Section Plans
In a recent Instagram video, Joss, who’s 38, revealed she’s just about four days away from meeting her fourth child.
She joked about how big her belly looks and gave fans a peek into her “crazy” C-section plans.
It all comes down to timing: her daughter Violet has a dance recital on the very same day as the scheduled delivery.
Joss explained how she had to ask her doctor to shift the operation time so she wouldn’t miss Violet dancing on stage.
The doctor was understanding and moved the C-section from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This means Violet will perform around 1:10 p.m., and Joss will head to the hospital shortly after.
“It’s going to be a crazy day,” she laughed.
Growing Family and Heartwarming Adoption Story
This will be Joss’s fourth child. She already shares Violet, 3, and Shackleton, 2, with her partner Cody DaLuz, a former US Marine.
At the end of last year, the couple joyfully welcomed Bear through adoption.
Joss and Cody’s story with Bear is especially touching — they officially adopted him when he was just a month old, born premature with fragile lungs, which meant lots of careful care and indoor time for the early months.
Joss has been open about how important adoption is to them both.
She shared that Cody was adopted himself, and they want to honor the brave decisions bio mothers make.
She said, “The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him, and the same goes for Bear.”
From Scary Moments to New Beginnings
Joss and Cody’s journey together hasn’t been without its challenges.
They met in 2020 after Joss escaped a frightening kidnapping plot in the UK.
Two men were convicted for planning to harm her at her home in Devon.
After that ordeal, Joss moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where the couple quietly married and started building their family.
Looking Forward to a Devon Return and a Slower Pace of Life
Despite settling in Nashville, Joss has her sights set on moving back to Devon, England, in time for Violet to start school.
She wants her kids to have the same carefree childhood she enjoyed — riding horses, climbing trees, and spending time close to family.
“I hope Cody likes it over there,” she added with a smile.
Being a parent has also shifted Joss’s lifestyle quite a bit.
She’s embraced a slower, more manageable pace, which means less hectic touring and more quality family time.
Joss shared that she now prefers to travel by bus overnight while the kids sleep, and although managing life with two little ones will be a challenge, they’re figuring it out together.
