Amber Heard is back on the stand in court in Fairfax County, Virginia, to tell a jury that Johnny Depp ran a ‘sophisticated’ smear campaign against her.
‘I was trying to get Johnny to stop the smear campaign… Johnny told me he would ruin me that no one would ever work with me again.
‘I’d never work again that I’d be selling [the adult diaper] Depends, is what he said. He said that he’d ruin my career.
‘He was calling me a liar and forcing me to prove it.’

amille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew are Johnny Depp’s lawyers and will cross-examine Amber Heard when she is finished giving testimony.

Amber Heard walked the jury through how she covered up bruises with arnica cream and makeup after Johnny Depp allegedly hit her.
She held up a Milani Color Corrector palette that she said was one of her go-to products.
She told the jury that injuries to the lips were the hardest to hide because lips ‘crack and bleed’ but that bruising on the nose heals faster.
‘Bruising on your face tends to heal faster than bruises on my body.
‘A nose is pretty much unrecognizable after a day or two. Lips are the hardest because they crack and bleed but it’s easy to hide with lipstick if you’re a woman or if you wear lipstick, I suppose.’
Amber Heard also argued against photos that Johnny Depp’s team said showed her without injuries, wearing no makeup.
‘They don’t know what they’re talking about. I always wear makeup.
‘I put on moisturizer, I’m certainly not going to walk around L.A. with bruises on my face.’
Amber Heard says she filed for divorce from Johnny Depp because she thought he would eventually kill her if she didn’t.
Amber Heard told the couple’s defamation trial that Johnny Depp ‘would have taken it too far’ if she stayed in the marriage.
Here is her explosive testimony:
‘I knew if I didn’t I likely wouldn’t survive. I was so scared it was going to end badly for me.
‘I loved him so much. I would have done anything but I couldn’t do that one thing, I couldn’t stay. The hope that I had had become less and less.
‘The monster had been this thing that was now the normal. The violence was now normal and not the exception.
‘It was so hard but I knew I had to do it. I believe he would have taken it too far and I wouldn’t be here.’
Amber Heard filed for divorce in May 2016. She said she was so sick during their marriage that she suffered shingles.
‘I was losing hair, I was losing weight. I got really sick I got shingles.
‘I had panic attacks all the time I was falling apart.
‘I was scared and very conflicted because the person I was scared of was also the person I was in love with.’
Johnny Depp texted Amber Heard in May 2016 saying he could not understand how he ever fell in love with her.
The couple had been married for one year when Amber Heard filed for divorce.
On May 21, 2016, Johnny Depp ‘lashed out’ after returning home to their home to find Amber Heard’s friends there.
In one text message afterwards, Depp said he didn’t understand how he could have ever fallen in love with Amber Heard.
Johnny Depp said he hoped their divorce would be quick, and asked himself: ‘What the f*** was I thinking?’
The texts were shown in court on Monday as the defamation trial between the couple continued.
I’ll never be able to understand how I fell in love with you… you’re not her. I was convenient for you. What the f**k was I thinking?’ he said.
He also called Amber Heard a ‘spoiled brat’.
In another text, he told Amber: ‘I’m sad, I’m scared and I am broken. I want you happy I have zero harsh feelings. I am clear and I am me.’

Amber Heard told her trial that Johnny Depp stood her up at the 2016 Met Gala – and that’s when she ran into ‘true gentleman’ Elon Musk who was with his mother.
‘[Musk] was there with his mother. He reminded me we had met before… He seemed like a real gentlemen. He was really nice.’
Amber Heard and Elon Musk dated during Amber’s divorce battle with Johnny Depp. They called time on their romance in 2017.
The court has heard audio of Johnny Depp screaming at Amber Heard that she doesn’t ‘exist’ when Heard was on the stand.
“You’re ain’t nobody’s mom! You don’t exist!” he yelled in the clip.
Heard was testifying about why the couple started recording each other.
As the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial continues, fans are divided over which star to believe.
Johnny Depp’s die hard followers insist Amber abused him and is lying about much of what she claims she suffered during their relationship.
But Amber Heard also has legions of fans. They say it is sick the actress has been forced to relive her apparent trauma in front of the world.

Comedian Chris Rock brutally ripped into Amber Heard during a stand-up show over the weekend.
‘Believe all women, believe all women except Amber Heard,’ Rock joked. ‘What the f*** is she on? She s*** in his bed! She’s fine, but she’s not s***ting fine. She s**** in his bed!
The comedian was performing in London on Thursday night when he made the comments.
Johnny Depp is not likely to be welcomed back as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise.
Now, the movie will become a female-led production and Margot Robbie is in talks to be the main star.
Hollywood super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer said Robbie was still in negotiations on the project.
