Joe and Jill Biden left for Wilmington, Delaware, on Tuesday night

Tuesday night, President Joe Biden and Jill Biden left the White House unannouncedly to return to Wilmington, Delaware.

The location where Marine One takes off was still set-up for the previous celebration commemorating the Inflation Reduction Act, so the White House didn’t make the announcement that Biden was making the trip until after the convoy had moved off of the South Lawn’s driveway.

The Bidens were only slated to stay in Delaware for an hour and a half, according to an amended timetable, which the White House would not explain.

They are expected back at the White House later on Tuesday night, according to the White House.
