According to many sources, the January 6th panel intends to vote on subpoenaing former President Donald Trump on Thursday in what is probably going to be its last public session.

The panel said that they would be holding a “meeting” rather than a “hearing” on Thursday, which would allow them to “possibly take a committee vote on additional investigative action based upon that information.”

Even though it is widely believed that the former president won’t cooperate, the subpoena was issued more than a year after the committee started looking into his involvement in the Capitol incident on January 6, 2011.
