India reports 1,150 new COVID cases in last 24 hours

India logged 1,150 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, ANI quoted the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as saying on Saturday.

As many as 1,194 COVID patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 42,501,196.

According to the Ministry, 83 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 5,21,656.
