India records 37,379 new COVID-19 cases, 124 deaths

NEW DELHI, 4th January, 2022 – India recorded 37,379 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infections to 34.

96 million, the Indian health ministry said.

The death toll climbed to 482,017 after the South Asian country logged 124 new fatalities.
