Illinois winner claims $1.37billion Mega Millions jackpot

The winning $1.37 billion Mega Millions jackpot ticket, the second-highest reward in history, was apparently purchased by a single Illinois resident at the Speedy Café Speedway fueling station in Des Plaines.

The $1.37 billion jackpot winner on Friday will have the choice of getting the money over 29 years or in a single payment of $747.2 million.

Friday’s winning numbers were 67, 45, 57, 36, and 13 The mega millions ball was 14, with the winner able to overcome the 1 in 303 million odds.
