Johnson, who has been linked with jobs at both of the above mentioned clubs, has since opened up on the prospect of taking up a position at the Soweto sides.
“I am honoured for my name to be mentioned around Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. I think I have the capability to work for such big team. I can do that,” Johnson told iDiski Times.
“It’s always difficult at this time of the season, it’s halfway through the season…most clubs are settled and many of them have 10 matches remaining.
“Some coaches will continue with their current contracts into next season. if Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates do come around, I am sure I can make a difference.”
The former SuperSport United coach has been unemployed since his ‘divorce’ with Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly which took place late last year.
