Hundreds of imprisoned rats try desperately to leap out of a communal garbage in London

This is the sickening moment that dozens of trapped rats attempt to launch themselves out of a bin in east London.

The horrible footage shows a mound of rats leaping on top of each other to try and escape the bin.

The rodents are seen inside a communal black bin at Norton House, Tower Hamlets, and several of the vermin are attempting to flee the receptacle.

Others were nestled among the garbage inside the bin while the others jumped into the air.
