FOCUS SEEK24 Conference Draws Record Attendance in St. Louis
Introduction: The Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) is currently hosting the SEEK24 conference in St.
Louis, attracting over 19,000 participants, predominantly composed of young individuals from various parts of the country and beyond.
This event, held at the former NFL stadium connected to the America’s Center Convention complex, seeks to inspire and strengthen the Catholic faith among the youth.
Expanding Influence: In comparison to the previous year, SEEK24 has significantly expanded, boasting a 28% increase in attendance.
With 19,707 registered paid participants, this year’s conference is positioned to surpass the success of its predecessor in various aspects.
The growth is indicative of the conference’s increasing impact on the Catholic community.
Dynamic Program: The SEEK24 conference offers a dynamic program featuring renowned Catholic speakers, including Montse Alvarado, the President of EWTN News.
Attendees can expect fellowship opportunities, engaging prayer and worship sessions, which encompass Eucharistic adoration and Mass, as well as high-energy entertainment.
The diverse lineup aims to cater to the multifaceted needs of the young Catholic audience.
Local Engagement: One of the highlights of the conference is the massive session of Eucharistic adoration scheduled for Wednesday evening. St. Louis locals are encouraged to join conference attendees for this profound experience.
In the previous year, over 1,800 individuals from the St. Louis area participated in adoration, and more than 500 priests conducted over 3,000 confessions in just two hours. FOCUS spokesperson Kate Milligan expressed optimism, aiming to surpass 24,000 attendees for this year’s adoration session.
Anticipated Impact: As the SEEK24 conference continues to unfold, its aim is to not only break attendance records but also to leave a lasting impact on the spiritual lives of the young participants.
