After having a look at Amakhosi’s playing formation during Baxter’s last game against SuperSport United, Zwane tweaked the system in the Stellenbosch FC 1-0 loss.

According to Transfermarkt, Baxter’s last game saw the team set-up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Full line-up: Peterson, Blom, Mphahlele, Ngazana, Frosler, Nange, Cole, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Parker, Billiat and Nurkovic.

Zwane then took charge to not only make surprise playing personnel changes. But an altered playing formation as well. The former winger decided to set a 3-4-3 formation.

Happy Mashiane made a rare start as an attacking left-back, with Njabulo Blom on the opposite flank, with Amakhosi’s three central defenders were Njabulo Ngcobo, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, and Siyabonga Ngezana.

Full line-up: Peterson, Ngcobo, Mphahlele, Ngezana, Blom, Mashiane, Cole, Radebe, Dolly, Billiat, Castro.

Unfortunately, the change did not produce a winning result, with Zwane saying the players were struck by a fear to play.

Meanwhile, Zwane and Sheppard have six more matches to convince the club not to look for a new head coach from outside next season.
