Head-on collision in Westmead Durban leaves two injured

In Westmead Durban, a collision on Henry Pennington Road prompted a call to Netcare 911.

According to reports, there was a head-on incident between a bakkie and a car.

The SAPS, Durban Metropolitan Police, and Ethekwini Fire and Rescue were all on the site.

Two people were examined by doctors after suffering moderate injuries.

The driver of the bakkie was locked from the waist down until a Netcare 911 rescue technician used hydraulic tools to extricate him.

Both patients were taken to nearby hospitals for additional treatment once they had been treated, set free, and stabilised.
