Guinea PM highlights country’s keenness to reinforce cooperation with UAE

Mohamed Béavogui, Prime Minister of Guinea, affirmed his country’s keenness to reinforce its cooperation with the UAE through the comprehensive strategic partnership between them.

In his statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Guinean Prime minister said the two countries are currently cooperating in the production of bauxite, which is the raw material that aluminium is derived from, and noted that the recent period witnessed an increase in production, amounting to 10 million tonnes per year.

Béavogui said his visit to the UAE included several discussions about potential cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Dubai Ports, highlighting investment opportunities available in Guinea related to iron and aluminium mining.
He also expressed his optimism about Guinea’s future, adding that its vision is based on youth empowerment.
