For years, celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo were the ultimate TV duo, bringing their culinary skills and playful banter to screens across the UK.

Their hit ITV series Gordon, Gino, and Fred’s Road Trip made them household names, known for their hilarious antics and undeniable chemistry.

But behind the scenes, cracks in their friendship had been forming for years.

The first signs of tension between the two chefs surfaced back in 2019, when Ramsay’s teenage daughter, Tilly, began dating Gino’s son, Luciano.

The Airport Incident That Made Things Worse

Another point of contention between Ramsay and Gino reportedly came in late 2022 when Gino was caught with cannabis at an airport while traveling with Ramsay’s private jet.

Returning from a filming trip in Spain, their plane was met by sniffer dogs at Farnborough Airport.

According to reports, Gino initially tried to laugh off the situation, but police searched his bags and found a small amount of cannabis, which he later claimed was for medical use to help his bad back.

Sources say that Ramsay and Fred were furious about the incident, especially since Ramsay has been outspoken about his strict anti-drugs stance.

While Gino was let off with a warning, it’s believed that this incident only widened the growing rift between him and Ramsay.

Allegations and the Final Blow to Their Friendship

Recently, things have taken a more serious turn. Gino D’Acampo has been accused of inappropriate and intimidating behavior, with allegations spanning over a 12-year period.

While he has denied all claims, calling them “deeply upsetting,” Ramsay has not publicly spoken out in support of his former friend.
