The Gombe State Police Command has warned residents of the State to desist from flouting the Road Traffic Act and Traffic Laws.

The Command said it observed the indiscriminate use of covered number plates, unregistered vehicles, revolving lights and sirens within the state.

A statement by the Police Commissioner, Mr. Ishola Babaita, says those who violate such laws will be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land.

The Gombe State Police Command, therefore, called on the residents of the state to desist from violating the order.
“…officers and men of the command in collaboration with other traffic enforcement agencies, will be all out to enforce the order by seizing sirens, impounding vehicles with covered number plates and unregistered vehicles and also to arrest violators for prosecution please,” said Babaita.
