In her memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’, launched on June 18, 2023, she revealed how she discovered Iyanya’s infidelity with Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh.

In a chapter titled “Iyanya and My Love Life,” Yvonne Nelson recounted her time with Iyanya and the initial signs of a promising future.
The singer’s act of tattooing her initials, ‘YN,’ on his waist and mentioning her in his hit song, ‘Ur Waist,’ gave her a sense of security and commitment.
However, her world shattered when she received a call informing her about Iyanya’s unfaithfulness.
The Shocking Revelation:
The caller disclosed that whenever Yvonne left Iyanya’s house, another female Nollywood star would frequently visit and even spend the night.
The news left Yvonne stunned, particularly when she learned that the actress in question was Tonto Dikeh, one of the celebrities Iyanya had mentioned in his song.
The Heartbreak:
Yvonne Nelson admitted that the revelation of Iyanya’s affair with Tonto Dikeh devastated her.
While reflecting on the situation, she realized that even without Tonto Dikeh’s involvement, she would have eventually ended the relationship.
