FRSC To Intensify Enlightenment Campaign On Safety Measures In Anambra

Anambra State command of the Federal Road Safety Commission says it will redouble its efforts in enlightening the motoring public on road safety measures this year.

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission in Anambra State Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi who disclosed this in an interview with Abuchi Nwozor in Awka said that the command will intensify its advocacy with various transport Unions in Anambra State especially tricycle operators to ensure that road accidents are reduced to the barest minimum.

Mr Irelewuyi who said that the collaboration between the Federal Road Safety Commission in Anambra State with other traffic and security agencies will be sustained this year advised Motorists to always obey traffic rules and regulations for both their safety and other road users.

He warned Drivers of articulated vehicles against putting on extra light on their vehicles urging them to remove such or face the consequences.

Mr Irelewuyi commended the Anambra State Government for its support to the Federal Road Safety Commission, as well as corporate bodies and the Media for their cooperation calling for its sustainability this 2022.
