A recent stir on social media has been all about a French diver’s swimming trunks, and it’s not just the usual Olympic excitement. Fans have gone wild over a photo of Jules Bouyer, a 22-year-old diver from Annecy, France, that’s causing quite a buzz online.

Bouyer, who is aiming for gold at the Paris Olympics, is set to compete in the men’s synchronized 3m springboard final this Friday.

He’ll be diving alongside his teammate, Alexis Jandard, who has also been grabbing attention for his good looks since the opening ceremony.

In addition to the synchronized event, Bouyer is gearing up for the individual 3m springboard competition next week.

He’s been working diligently in practice, perfecting his dives for the big moment.

Social Media Frenzy: The Speedo Photo

But it’s not just his diving skills that have people talking.

A photo of Bouyer poolside, in a very snug pair of swimming trunks, has gone viral. The snap, which shows Bouyer in a rather form-fitting Speedo, has left fans both surprised and amused.

One social media user joked that the tight trunks were the “only reason I love the Olympics.” Another quipped, “I just really hope his Speedo is getting paid time and a half,” while a third fan praised, “He fills out a Speedo very well.”

The playful comments continued with, “Those Speedos are working overtime at this point,” and another fan simply declared Bouyer “perfect.”

Avoiding Wardrobe Malfunctions

Luckily for Bouyer, he avoided a wardrobe mishap like the one during last week’s opening ceremony.

A performer’s unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, captured by a user on X, showed a testicle peeking out from their underwear as the cameras panned across their boat. It seemed the performer’s shorts had ridden up, leading to the embarrassing situation.

Bouyer’s Journey to the Olympics

Bouyer’s diving journey began at age six, and he joined the senior French team’s training camp in 2020. His talent quickly became evident as he clinched both the Junior European and Junior World champion titles in 2021.

Now, he’s set to make his mark on home soil in Paris.
