Former wrestling champion Brian Knobs faces medical emergency as diabetes complications threaten foot amputation in rehabilitation facility

Brian Knobs, best known as one-half of the legendary wrestling duo The Nasty Boys, spent years entertaining fans in WWE and WCW.

Alongside his tag team partner Jerry Sags, he achieved major victories, including the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1991 and multiple WCW World Tag Team titles.

Even after WCW shut down, Knobs continued making appearances in the wrestling world, including stints in TNA and independent promotions.

A Life-Threatening Medical Emergency

Now at 60 years old, Knobs is facing one of the toughest battles of his life.

A recent foot injury took a dangerous turn, escalating into a severe infection.

Due to his diabetes and other underlying health issues, doctors are now considering amputation as a necessary measure to save his life.

Turning to Fans for Help

In an effort to cover his medical expenses, Knobs has launched a GoFundMe campaign, calling it a “critical medical emergency.”

The fundraiser aims to raise £23,200 ($30,000) to support his treatment and rehabilitation.

According to the page, he is currently in a medical rehab center, fighting to recover.

A Series of Heartbreaking Setbacks

This is not the first major health struggle for Knobs. In 2019, he was hospitalized due to a severe blood infection and required knee surgery.

To make matters worse, just last year, he and his wife lost their home when Hurricane Milton tore through the Gulf of Mexico.

The disaster left them living in a hotel before Knobs was admitted to the hospital.

A Plea for Support

Opening up about his struggles, Knobs shared an emotional message on his fundraiser page.

“It’s been a really tough time for me lately,” he wrote.

“I’m back in the hospital after losing everything in the last hurricane, and now I’m facing the possibility of amputation of my foot.

I never wanted to ask for help again, but I need it now more than ever.

I love you all and appreciate anything you can do.”

Wrestling Community Rallies Behind Him

Fans and fellow wrestlers have started showing their support, sharing words of encouragement and donations.

As Knobs battles through these hardships, the wrestling world is hoping for a positive outcome.

Whether through financial contributions or messages of support, the community is coming together to help one of its own in a time of need.
