Former NBA star Eric Bledsoe gets arrested at Los Angeles gas station after woman accuses him of physical assault during early morning incident

Just when it looked like things had settled down for Eric Bledsoe, the former NBA point guard finds himself in legal trouble again—this time following an alleged incident that played out in the early hours at a gas station in the Los Angeles area.

Late-Night Arrest Follows Report of Violence

According to reports, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a distress call around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

When they arrived at a gas station off a Los Angeles freeway, they encountered Bledsoe and a woman who had visible injuries—specifically bruising and swelling on her face.

The woman claimed Bledsoe had hit her.

Though the former NBA player reportedly refused to make a statement to the police, he was taken into custody and later booked on a felony domestic violence charge. Bail was set at $55,000.

A Troubling Pattern Resurfaces

This isn’t the first time Bledsoe’s name has surfaced in connection with domestic issues.

In fact, just two months ago in April, police were called to his Los Angeles home after neighbors reported a domestic disturbance.

At that time, authorities found that a dispute had taken place—Bledsoe had apparently been locked out and had to force his way back in—but no arrests were made.

There were no visible signs of violence, and both Bledsoe and his girlfriend, Briona Mae, reportedly refused to cooperate with law enforcement.

Is Briona Mae Involved This Time?

At this point, it remains unclear whether the woman involved in the latest incident is Briona. However, the couple does have a history.

Back in October 2022, Briona publicly accused Bledsoe of abuse via a since-deleted Instagram post.

She shared a photo of a red mark on her face and wrote a deeply emotional caption, stating:

“NO RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS IS EVER WORTH STAYING IN!! … ERIC BLEDSOE really is a monster.”

Despite the arrest back then, those charges were ultimately dropped due to insufficient evidence.

From the NBA to China—and Back into the Headlines

Eric Bledsoe, 35, has had an extensive basketball career.

Drafted in 2010 by the Oklahoma City Thunder (though traded to the Clippers on draft night), he’s also suited up for the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, New Orleans Pelicans, and had a return stint with the Clippers and Grizzlies.

In recent years, he played for the Shanghai Sharks in China.

The Briona Connection

Briona Mae, known from her time on the reality TV show She’s Got Game, has had her share of the spotlight, too.

She’s a model, actress, and designer with a history of dating high-profile celebrities, including NFL player Kelvin Benjamin, with whom she shares two children.

She’s believed to have been dating Bledsoe since 2020, and together they have twin daughters, Norah and Noor.

What Happens Next?

With Bledsoe’s latest arrest making headlines again, questions are swirling about the status of his relationship, the future of his career, and whether this ongoing legal saga will lead to long-term consequences.

Whether or not the allegations hold up in court, this latest episode adds another chapter to a troubling personal history—one that continues to overshadow his basketball legacy.
