Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is taking the reins of a groundbreaking task force dedicated to exposing some of the government’s most well-guarded secrets.
With a firm commitment to transparency, Luna aims to bring to light classified documents on high-profile events, including the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.
Her leadership in this initiative signals a new wave of government accountability.
Revealing Long-Sought Secrets
Luna has promised that her team will work to declassify long-withheld information, such as documents surrounding JFK’s murder and the files related to the controversial financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Beyond these, the task force will dig into the U.S. government’s knowledge of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, and other matters of national concern.
Investigating Key Historical Events
The initiative will also explore secretive documents tied to significant events like the origins of COVID-19 and the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
According to Luna, the scope of this investigation will be more thorough than previous efforts.
“In past investigations, they didn’t have access to the level of information we are about to uncover,” Luna stated, emphasizing the potential for groundbreaking discoveries.
Controversial Claims About JFK’s Assassination
Adding fuel to the discussion, Luna has expressed her belief that JFK’s 1963 assassination involved more than one shooter.
“I believe there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to,” she revealed.
The task force’s first hearing, scheduled for March, will focus on JFK’s murder, featuring testimonies from witnesses, including those who were present in the operating room where he was treated after the shooting.
Public Hearings and Witness Testimonies
Luna is committed to ensuring that these hearings remain accessible to the public.
“There are people who have publicly spoken about being in the room when JFK was brought in after being shot.
We hope to bring them in to testify,” she shared.
The effort is expected to shed new light on long-standing mysteries and provide the public with firsthand accounts of pivotal historical moments.
Building on Trump’s Push for Transparency
The formation of this task force follows former President Donald Trump’s executive order mandating the full release of the JFK assassination files.
Trump’s directive also included the declassification of documents related to Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy’s assassinations, requiring intelligence officials to formulate a release plan within a set timeframe.
Collaboration with the White House
Luna has confirmed that she will be working closely with the White House to accelerate the declassification process.
She and Oversight Chairman James Comer have already reached out to key agencies, including the Department of Justice, the National Security Agency, the CIA, the Pentagon, and the State and Energy Departments, requesting access to relevant documents.
Probing UFOs and Other Unexplained Phenomena
Beyond historical assassinations, the Republican-led task force is also setting its sights on uncovering details about unidentified aerial and submerged phenomena.
With increasing public curiosity about these occurrences, Luna and her team aim to clarify what the government has known and withheld from the public.
What Comes Next?
With its first hearing approaching, Luna’s task force is poised to challenge decades of secrecy.
As investigations unfold, the public can expect new revelations that could reshape our understanding of history.
The effort to expose these long-classified documents marks a significant step toward government transparency, raising anticipation about what secrets may finally come to light.
