It was a black Sunday in Onitsha metropolis as fire gutted a petrol stationed along Awka road, near Zik’s roundabout Onitsha.

The affected petrol stations are Silver and Christee petrol stations as of the time of this report.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained.

Fire fighters were on ground battling vigorously to quench the inferno to avoid further spread to other petrol stations within the axis.
