Fiona MacGregor steps down as Chief Executive of RSH due to family circumstances

Fiona MacGregor’s intention to leave her position as chief executive owing to personal reasons has been officially notified by the regulator of social housing today.

Since the RSH’s founding in October 2018, Fiona has held the position of CEO. ]

Prior to that, she held the position of Executive Director of Regulation at the Homes and Communities Agency, first temporarily and then permanently, beginning in July 2015. Bernadette Conroy, the RSH’s chair, will now collaborate with others in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities to name a replacement.

Jonathan Walters, the Deputy Chief Executive, who has taken on certain new tasks, will support Fiona in her role as CEO until the new year.
