FIFA (www.FIFA.com) is announcing that the accreditation process for media representatives intending to cover the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2022TM via the FIFA Media Hub is now open. The application date for accreditation is July 17, 2022.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Costa Rica in two Host Cities – San José and Alajuela – from 10 to 28 August 2022, will feature some of the world’s best young players and future superstars of the women’s game, with 32 matches involving 16 women’s national youth teams from around the world.

Media accreditation process

The FIFA Media Hub will coordinate the media accreditation procedure for written journalists, photographers, and non-rights holder media. The accreditation form can be accessed by media representatives with an approved Media Hub account HERE (https://fifa.fans/3NaODAX).

Media representatives who do not yet have a Media Hub account can register online at https://fifa.fans/3xO3uM9.

Approval for access to the FIFA Media Hub does not imply accreditation for the competition. After receiving your Media Hub username and password, complete the accreditation form at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022 area of the Media Hub.

All applications are subject to approval and will not be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In due course, successful applicants will be notified and given additional information.

Media Rights Licensees (MRLs)

The Media Rights Licensees’ media accreditation procedure will begin in early July. Radio and television media rights licensees must go through a separate accreditation process. Please email broadcasterservicing@fifa.org for more information.
