Tweeps expresses Shock says, ‘He didn’t deserve it,’ in response to Die Antwoord’s ‘tell-all’

Fans have expressed disgust, outrage, and even anger at the latest claims levied against Die Antwoord, which are as shocking as they are.

The couple, who are both from South Africa, were accused by their former foster child of mistreating and neglecting him while he was growing up with them.

Gabriel “Tokkie” du Preez detailed how the “Zef” hitmakers allegedly subjected him to pornography, underage sex acts, violent criminals, and even “black magic” blood rituals.

Fans of the band are now speaking out as well.

TWEEPS DRAG DIE ANTWOORD

Following Tokkie’s charges in a YouTube interview with Ben Crossman, other tweeps took to social media to publicly condemn Die Antwoord’s behavior.

Watkin Jones and Andri du Toit, alias Ninja and Yo-Landi Visser, are the members of the group.

@_discobones: “F**k Die Antwoord and anyone who supports them or even just plays their music. The level of abusers they are is way too severe to even do that “separate art and artist” bulls**t. Can’t believe I ever considered myself a fan. Pure scum”

@MarcellusESQ: “Die Antwoord not only make some of the worst f**king music but they’re also sexual abusers and racist? F**k them until the end of time”

@alyferreira7: “The video of Tokkie exposing Ninja and Yolandi Visser of Die Antwoord is so difficult to watch. I can imagine so difficult for him to do. He’s so brave for speaking out about his traumas and doing the best he can to build a better life for his siblings”

Twitter

One tweep even recalled their own experience working with the group.

@areyouokayanny tweeted: “When I worked on their music video in 2019 they left me to sit under a gazebo alone for hours in Fietas. Tokkie came to sit with me so I don’t get robbed. [He] gave me juice after not being fed on set all day. He’s so soft and kind, he didn’t deserve this”

ZELDA LE GRANGE DEFENDS TOKKIE

Meanwhile, Zelda Le Grange, the late South African president Nelson Mandela’s former secretary, has expressed her support for Tokkie.

Zelda had some equally strong words to defend him against a tweep who branded his claims “ludicrous, twisted, dramatized, and an attempt to blackmail them.”

“Perhaps watch this and determine if you don’t think a person’s weakness is exploited and taken advantage of,” Zelda tweeted, retweeting the YouTube interview between Ben and Tokkie. You live in such luxury, have abused the children, and all you can spare him is R5000 for a welding course? “Sies guy!” said the speaker.

“Please don’t come with the ‘oh but it’s true art’ crap,” she said of Die Antwoord. This kind of kid grooming is against the law. Taking advantage of people who are defenseless. Sickening”.

Zheani Sparkes, the Australian rapper who accused Ninja of rapping her on her 2013 trip to South Africa, also expressed love to Tokkie, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“All you need in this world is each other,” Zheanie said in a comment on a photo of Tokkie’s older brother Adriaan and their younger sister uploaded on Instagram by Tokkie.
