Team Ignite, an early-stage venture firm based in El Dorado Hills, California, has launched its first-ever YC-focused fund—Team Ignite Fund I.

The firm, which has roots in syndicates, is excited to make its mark with this new venture fund.

The fund, led by Brian Bell, the Founder and Managing Partner, has raised $1 million and adopted a rolling fund model.

Over the course of several YC batches, Team Ignite Fund I has made over 30 investments, focusing on innovative startups in areas like AI agents, financial infrastructure, marketplace tools, and next-gen B2B SaaS platforms.

Rather than playing it safe, Team Ignite invested in the top 10% of founders just before their Demo Day, aiming for massive markets and offering fair terms.

The strategy was bold—no reserves, with 100% of the capital deployed into initial investments across YC’s most competitive cohorts.

Rollstack: This company, which helps teams automate the creation of live dashboards and business reports, successfully raised a Series A round led by Insight Partners.
ParadeDB: Aiming to disrupt the database space, ParadeDB, now backed by Craft Ventures, is building a cutting-edge alternative to Elasticsearch that’s optimized for real-time and update-heavy workloads.
