Ekiti State University (EKSU) Announces Resumption of Academic Activities

The management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti has announced the resumption of academic activities following the closure of the school due to the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The resumption notice was contained in a statement issued by Bode Olofinmuagun, Director of Information and Corporate Affairs of the institution on Monday, May 23, following a meeting by the management of the university.

According to the statement, the university’s management was concerned about the plight of students and parents as schools continue to be closed. It also explained that students who were admitted for the 2021/2022 academic session were yet to resume, while the 2020/2021 second semester is yet to be concluded.

Consequently, in-person academic activities at the university resume on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
