Ejinkeonye Foundation Ọba  Idemili South Council Area Gives Succour To 400 Beneficiaries

No fewer than four hundred persons have benefitted from the benevolence of Afamefuna Ejinkeonye Foundation Oba in ldemili South Local Government Area.

Staff Reporter, Odinaka Nwolisa reports that the event which cut across women, men, youths and daughters of the area was in the spirit of yuletide.

Items distributed include bags of rice, cooked food, drinks, life cow as well as cash.

Speaking during the exercise, the benefactor Mr Adams Ejinkeonye represented by his father Mr Nwabunwanne Mozie, observed that the gesture was targeted at reducing poverty and hunger.

According to him the foundation has come up with palliative measures to improve the welfare of the community members pointing out that the distribution remains a testimony in alleviating their plight.

In a remark, one of the facilitators, Mr Ifeanyi Ndubuisi called on  affluent individuals to borrow a leaf from the foundation in uplifting humanity.

Some of the beneficiaries including Mrs Rosemary Akoh, Grace Uzo and Joy Ekemezie, expressed gratitude for the annual gesture and prayed to God to reward him abundantly.
