Lotto First Division will be split between eight players in the North Island who each became $125,000 richer on Saturday night.

Two other players won $250,000 each through lucky Strike, but no one claimed Powerball, making next Wednesday a jackpot of $25 million.

The winning tickets were bought at a mix of physical stores and an online alternative, MyLotto.

A Lotto spokesperson said players should check their ticket either in-store or online to see if they have won. The winning stores were in Auckland, Hamilton, Te Awamutu, New Plymouth, Upper Hutt and Porirua.

Two lucky Strike players from Warkworth and Manawatu-Whanganui won $250,000 each with Strike Four. The winning Strike tickets were sold at New World Warkworth and on MyLotto.

A Palmerston North woman recently discovered she’d won $250,000 six months after the Lotto draw, after finding the forgotten ticket in her wallet.
