EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, Receives Award for Distinction and Quality Service from SERVICOM

…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, was honored with an award of distinction and quality service by Service Compact with All Nigerians (SERVICOM) on June 1, 2023.

This recognition was bestowed upon him in recognition of his unwavering dedication and support in accomplishing SERVICOM’s vision and mission.

Advocating for Good Governance:

During the award presentation ceremony, Nnenna Akajemeli, the National Coordinator/Chief Executive of SERVICOM, emphasized the importance of implementing policies that ensure ordinary Nigerians can experience the positive impact of good governance.

She also highlighted the need for collaboration among stakeholders to achieve the shared goal of effective governance.

Commendation for the EFCC:

Nnenna Akajemeli expressed her appreciation for the EFCC’s efforts in strengthening the campaign for improved service delivery.

This commendation was made during a one-day stakeholders forum attended by Directors of Reforms, Nodal Officers, Public Relations Officers, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Recognition for the EFCC and Abdulrasheed Bawa:

SERVICOM’s recognition of the EFCC Chairman is the organization’s latest accolade.

Last year, the EFCC was acknowledged as the best parastatal in service delivery in Nigeria, while Abdulrasheed Bawa was honored as the second best Chief Executive for his commitment to enhancing service delivery and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Other Recognized Institutions:

Aside from the EFCC, several other Ministries, Departments, and Agencies were acknowledged at the stakeholders forum.

These included the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
