NIPOST Announces Adeyemi Adepoju’s Reinstatement as Postmaster General
The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) made an announcement on Saturday asserting that President Bola Tinubu has reinstated Adeyemi Adepoju as the postmaster general of the agency.
This declaration comes just a few days after presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Wednesday, had declared Adepoju’s removal and appointed Tola Odeyemi as his replacement based on the President’s directive.
President’s Reinstatement Due to Exceptional Leadership
NIPOST, in its Saturday statement, claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had reinstated Rt. Honorable Adeyemi Sunday Adepoju as the Postmaster General of the Federation and CEO of NIPOST.
This reinstatement was attributed to Adepoju’s exceptional leadership and performance.
The statement further conveyed Adepoju’s appreciation to the President and other key supporters and his commitment to elevating NIPOST into a world-class digital postal service, aligning its vision with that of the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation & Digital Economy.
This reinstatement reflects Adepoju’s leadership skills and unwavering dedication to service, with the anticipation of enhanced value and quality services from NIPOST.
Awaiting Presidential Confirmation
While the video of Adepoju and others jubilating over the purported reinstatement has gone viral, the presidency is yet to confirm this development.
The situation remains fluid, with questions surrounding the reinstatement of Adeyemi Adepoju as the NIPOST boss.
This episode has stirred controversy and intrigue, as the President’s decision appears to have taken a different direction from previous announcements.
NIPOST’s assertion of Adepoju’s reinstatement remains unconfirmed by the presidency, leaving the matter open to further developments and clarification.
