Prince Andrew’s next chapter may be unfolding far from public view, on a scruffy patch of land tucked inside the King’s Norfolk estate.
The disgraced royal is said to be lined up for Marsh Farm, a neglected property sitting about seven miles from King Charles’ polished Sandringham retreat.
It’s not exactly palace living, and those familiar with the plan say the building is nowhere near ready for anyone to move into.
Marsh Farm: Remote, Rough and Far From Royal Lodge
Marsh Farm lies near Wolferton, not far from the Dersingham Bog Nature Reserve, with wooden gates, a gravel drive and a cluster of outbuildings.
The main house has two reception rooms and a kitchen, but insiders describe it as tired and in serious need of work.
One royal source put it bluntly, saying Andrew has effectively been told that Marsh Farm is where he’s headed — but warned that the scale of refurbishment means the move could be delayed for months, if not longer.
Businesses Keep Mum as Speculation Grows
Local businesses in the area have offered little insight, choosing to stay silent about the possibility of a new royal neighbour.
That quiet has only added to the intrigue surrounding Andrew’s future, particularly as Buckingham Palace declined to comment when approached.
