Detectives Investigating Rainier Valley Homicide

A man was shot and murdered in South Seattle on Friday evening, prompting police to launch an investigation.
A collision was reported at 43rd Avenue South and South Othello Street around 4:12 p.m., prompting police to react.
Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers and Seattle Fire Department doctors tried to save the 24-year-old man’s life, but he was declared dead at the site.
The Crime Scene Investigation Unit of the SPD was dispatched to gather evidence and process the scene.
Homicide Detectives have also responded and will continue the investigation.
