Despite attempts to explain and defuse the situation, Omondi’s aggression escalated.
Witnesses and video surveillance confirmed the homeowner’s recollection of events. Omondi allegedly pushed the homeowner, struck Jackson repeatedly with a piece of wood, and ultimately dumped a wheelbarrow of firewood on him.
The assault took a deadly turn as Omondi chased the homeowner into his house, then returned to beat Jackson to death with the firewood.

The woman described Omondi’s aggressive behavior, yelling threats and attempting to force his way into her room while she sought refuge in a bathroom.
