Tuesday in London, Crystal Palace defeated Wolves 2-1 thanks to a goal from Wilfried Zaha, while Nottingham Forest climbed off the bottom of the Premier League with a 0-0 draw against Brighton.
Forest still have only one victory on their return to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years, but they were thankful to exit the Amex with a point after being outplayed by Brighton.
The Seagulls are still searching for their first victory under new head coach Roberto de Zerbi, as they squandered a number of opportunities to capture the three points.
In the first half, Leandro Trossard struck the crossbar, Dean Henderson twice denied the Belgian international, and Pascal Gross made a wonderful late save.
De Zerbi stated, “I don’t want to speak as though the outcome is unfair or unlucky.”
“We must definitely focus on the final 20 meters, determine the optimal solution in the final 25 meters, and create more solutions.”
Forest failed to record a single shot on goal, but a second shutout of the season was enough to push Steve Cooper’s squad one point above Leicester in the standings.
Cooper stated, “It’s progress.”
“We must be satisfied with a draw if we consider the game in isolation.”

After squandering a lead at Selhurst Park, Wolves are just one point above the bottom three.
Just after the half-hour mark, Adama Traore headed home Hugo Bueno’s cross for Wolves’ fifth league goal in 11 games this season.
The Eagles soared in the second half after Eberechi Eze scored at the back post from Michael Olise’s cross. All three of Palace’s victories this season have been comeback victories.
Wilf. Winner.

Zaha sealed the comeback 20 minutes from time after collecting Odsonne Edouard’s ball and slotting it past Jose Sa.
The victory elevates Patrick Vieira’s squad to tenth.
“To succeed in the Premier League, it is necessary to demonstrate resilience and character. Nobody hid at 1-0 down, “stated Vieira.
“We still have a distance to travel. Young players are required to learn the game. Today wasn’t flawless, but we displayed some positive qualities that we can improve upon.”
