Country singer Darryl Worley is facing an incredibly challenging time after his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, was involved in a serious car accident in Nashville.

The incident occurred on Sunday, and Savannah had to be airlifted to a medical center for treatment.

Sharing the news with his fans on Facebook, the 60-year-old singer revealed he was flying back to Nashville from a performance in New Mexico when he received the heartbreaking news.

His wife, Kimberly, called to inform him that their daughter had been caught in a “bad wreck” and was being rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center.

“Savannah has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations,” Worley wrote, sharing a photo of himself with Savannah and pictures of the wrecked cars.

He also asked fans to keep his daughter, his wife, and the other driver in their thoughts.

“Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly!” he wrote.

Updates from the Hospital

By Tuesday, Worley shared an encouraging update, posting a photo of Savannah in her hospital bed, smiling despite the difficult situation.

“It’s been a rough few days, but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this!!” he captioned the image.

While it was still unclear when she would be able to go home, the improvement was a welcome sign.

“Today looks a lot better than yesterday or the day before!” he added.

Details About the Crash

Although specifics about the crash are still scarce, it’s known that both vehicles involved were severely damaged.

The front of both cars was crushed, with hoods and bumpers completely crumpled.

As for the other driver, details have not yet been released.
