Ten months after releasing the music video for his smash tune “Big Flexa,” Costa Titch celebrated the video’s 30 millionth YouTube view last week.
A few days later, the video surpassed the 30 060 000 views of MFR Souls and Kamo Mphela’s “Amanikiniki” music video to become the most viewed amapiano music video ever.
“Big Flexa,” which features C’buda M, Alfa Kat, Banaba Des, Sdida, and Man T, has been a sensation across the continent due to its catchy tune, primarily English lyrics (amapiano songs are normally in vernac), and viral music video.
The song has also been popular on TikTok, with dancers and TikTokers from all over the continent mimicking the dance steps in the music video and producing a variety of unique material using the song’s audio.
Additionally, “Big Flexa” is nominated for multiple accolades at the forthcoming Afrimas, including Song of the Year.
Friday honored the occasion with the release of “Superstar,” a new record by Costa Titch featuring Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz and Ma Gang Official.
Shortly after the release of the song, the local music video production pair Darion4k and The Lotus Sutra directed a music video for it.

After bursting onto the scene in 2019 with his smash track “Nkalakatha” and a remix featuring Riky Rick and AKA, Costa Titch has established himself as one of the most prominent local artists.
Since then, he has published his debut album titled “Made in Africa” and achieved success collaborating with brands such as Smirnoff and Bettr App.
