Coronation Street actors Charlie de Melo and Georgia Taylor spotted together on the red carpet ahead of the Soap Opera

Following Charlie’s exit from Coronation Street as Imran Habeeb, Georgia Taylor and Charlie de Melo reunited at the British Soap Awards.

Imran died in a car accident with Georgia’s character, Toyah Battersby, in the beginning of June.

Toyah has been questioned by the police on a regular basis after Imran’s death, as DS Swain becomes increasingly convinced that she purposely crashed her car with the intent of killing Imran after learning he paid Ben to lie in court.

Away from the drama, Charlie and Georgia are all smiles as they photographed on the red carpet together ahead of the British Soap Awards.

Georgia is dressed in an ivy-green gown for the occasion, while Charlie is dressed to the nines in a suit, tie, and waistcoat.

Phillip Schofield hosts the British Soap Awards tonight at 8pm on ITV.
