A picture is worth a thousand words, and the Department of Justice on Tuesday night issued a court document with a photo that would look good on Instagram: secret papers scattered all over the floor of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
However, Trump was quick to claim that the image was faked by officers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to “make [him] appear awful.”
In a tweet, he said, “Terrible the way the FBI, during the search of Mar-a-Lago, dumped papers randomly all over the floor (perhaps saying it was me that did it! ), and then began taking photographs of them for the world to see.”
Unfortunately, it’s not completely impossible.
Once again, it seems like the FBI and the DOJ are attempting to convict the former president in a cable news courtroom rather than a real courthouse.
It’s a terrible situation.
There is every reason to think Trump is correct that the picture was faked.
Nowadays, the FBI has left a lot of what it says or does up for dispute, particularly when it concerns the former president of the United States.
The FBI has been pestering this guy for years without filing any charges.
It’s enough enough.
It should be obvious at this point that the FBI has to be cleaned out.
Look at all the problems it has gotten itself into.
According to a fresh report released on Tuesday, Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, has lost the trust of his subordinates.
Kurt Siuzdak, a lawyer for FBI whistleblowers, told the Washington Times on Tuesday, “I’m hearing from [FBI workers] that they feel that the director has lost control of the agency.” How does this person live, they ask. He’s going out. He must go, I say.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, the powerful Republican who serves as the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has asked Wray to assist him in his investigation into a ‘deeply-rooted political infection’ in the bureau that has allegedly taken hold of inquiries into not only Trump but also inquiries into the First Son of the Grifter, Hunter Biden.
The demand for Wray’s dismissal comes after Timothy Thibault, the chief agent in the FBI field office in Washington, left the organisation last Friday over allegations from a whistleblower that he stopped a criminal probe into Hunter’s laptop.
According to the Times, “headquarters-looking individuals” led Thibault out of the office.
I have a dossier to sell you if you think it was typical operational practise and that the time was just coincidence.
In fact, the notorious Christopher Steele dossier—a fiction of the Clinton campaign that the FBI accepted without examination and at face value—was where it all began.
An FBI lawyer was found guilty of lying to a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in order to get a warrant to eavesdrop on Trump’s campaign after they used the blatant phoney to do so.
Not to mention the steamy text conversations between G-Man Peter Strzok and G-Woman Lisa Page, in which the mismatched couple reassured themselves that there would be a “Plan B” to remove Trump from office.
Then, for a few more years, there was Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel probe into the fabricated Russia-Collusion case, which fizzled out like a wet sparkler and included leaks that fed leftist pundits’ fantasy that Trump’s enemies were closing in.
Then all of a sudden, they weren’t.
Dreams and hopes were crushed.
Then there was Andrew McCabe, the discredited former deputy director of the FBI, who even the Inspector General of the DOJ concluded repeatedly lied and broke FBI rules and regulations.
Of course, he was not charged, and look where it got him: CNN contributor status!
Last Monday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg released another surprise on Joe Rogan’s podcast, severely undermining the FBI’s credibility.
It seems that spies alerted Zuck they thought a Russian misinformation operation was set to be launched a few days before the New York Post published its article on the Hunter Biden laptop in October 2020.
The government claims to have never brought up the laptop, but oddly, immediately following the publication of the Post’s laptop story—which, by the way, is now universally acknowledged to be 100 percent accurate—51 former intelligence officials signed a letter labelling it—you guessed it—Russian disinformation.
Have you seen the ribbon on that cute little package?
Alternatively, we might discuss disgraced former FBI Director James Comey, who briefed then-president-elect Trump on the fabricated dossier and then hurried to his waiting vehicle to record the incoming president’s response with intentions to reveal them later.
Or the scheme to use obscure, hundreds of years old legislation that has never before in the history of the nation resulted in a prosecution to catch them-incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
There are almost too many of them to list them all.
Simply said, the FBI was (is) relentless in its pursuit of anything that implicated (invokes) the name of Donald J. Trump.
Once again, even the FBI is aware of a problem.
To ‘prevent’ the impression of bias, it took the laughably ineffective action this week of prohibiting agents from attending openly political events.
But the appearance of prejudice is already gone.
These tiniest changes at the periphery or more monitoring are utterly inadequate given the ongoing uneven treatment of Trump and Biden by our primary law enforcement agency, which is so blatant that it is painfully obvious.
The FBI must immediately conduct a complete internal investigation from top to bottom.
Additionally, it most likely calls for Director Wray to be fired or resign, as he has completely failed in his efforts, if any at all, to hold the anti-Trump, pro-Biden thugs in his agency accountable.
Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel probe into the fabricated Russia-collusion case lasted for years until it burned out like a damp sparkler.
It included leaks that kept leftist commentators drooling over the idea that the walls were closing in on Trump.
The FBI was being saved by America before it self-destructed.
Polls show that 46% of Americans now have a negative opinion of the FBI. You may probably guess which 46% it is.
For half of the nation to fear federal law enforcement is awful and unsustainable, but when that split becomes so politicised, it is not just dangerous but also untenable.
Now, Biden, the head of a Democratic Party whose anti-police policies have made American cities havens for violent crime, has the gall to assert that Republican opposition to law enforcement is truly due to Republican criticism of the plainly politicised FBI.
It’s a ridiculous joke that Americans won’t find funny. The FBI has become completely corrupt.
It, along with the DOJ, must undergo genuine, significant transformation in order to recover the confidence of the American people.
There should be no more leaks, faked images, or cover-ups of Biden family crimes.
We need a trustworthy and open FBI. And right now, please.
