Coleen Rooney Touches Down at Brisbane Airport to Join I’m A Celebrity as Her Husband Wayne Faces Busy Football Schedule That Keeps Him from Joining Her in the Jungle

Coleen Rooney, 38, was spotted at the airport this Monday, gearing up for her exciting adventure on the popular reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The WAG was seen checking in for her flight, marking the beginning of her journey as the sixth celebrity heading to Brisbane for the show.

As she prepared for the long-haul flight, Coleen kept her look chic and comfortable.

She wore a loose-fitting black blazer adorned with a white pattern, paired with matching trousers and white trainers.

Adding a personal touch, she wore a gold necklace featuring the names of her four sons: Kai, Kit, Klay, and Cass. Her hair was neatly swept back into a simple ponytail, completing her stylish airport ensemble.

Coleen’s Heartfelt Disappointment

While Coleen is excited for her stint in the jungle, it’s not without some emotional hurdles.

Sources revealed that she’s “gutted” her husband, Wayne, won’t be able to join her for the highly anticipated “I’m A Celebrity” moment when family members visit contestants in the jungle.

Wayne, who is the manager of Plymouth Argyle, is unable to attend due to his busy football schedule.

With matches on November 22, 26, 30, and December 7, 10, and 14, he’ll be tied up with his responsibilities.

Despite this, Coleen understands the demands of his job and has accepted their separation, which has already been tested due to their time apart for Wayne’s career.

Health Challenges Ahead for Coleen

In other news, Coleen’s I’m A Celebrity experience will be slightly different from the others.

Due to her reactive arthritis, she has been exempted from certain challenging trials.

This medical condition will prevent her from participating in some of the more physically demanding tasks in the jungle, but she remains focused on her journey and the connections she will make with her fellow campmates.

The Arrival of Fellow Contestants

While Coleen makes her way to Brisbane, she’s not the only one preparing for life in the jungle.

On Monday, GK Barry, the 25-year-old influencer and Loose Women star, also arrived in Australia for the show.

Wearing a black and white tracksuit, she looked in high spirits as she wheeled her luggage through the airport.

Other celebrities such as Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, N-Dubz’s Tulisa Contostavlos, McFly’s Danny Jones, and Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall have also made their way to Australia, joining the I’m A Celebrity lineup.

Challenges and Expectations

Each of these celebrities brings something unique to the show.

For example, Dean McCullough, who’s made a name for himself as a BBC Radio 1 DJ, was all smiles despite a long flight.

He joked about adopting two koalas and even named them after the show’s hosts, Anthony and Declan.

Meanwhile, former X-Factor judge Tulisa kept a low profile on her arrival, humorously asking about McDonald’s in Australia after her long journey.

Danny Jones, also arriving with a guitar in tow, has been tight-lipped about his participation, joking that he’s there to record a solo album.

Alan Halsall, dealing with a lingering knee injury, remains uncertain about his participation in some of the tougher trials but is still determined to take on the jungle.
