Reverend Nwachor disclosed this during a church service where he said that all are bound to sacrifice with what they were blessed with and highlighed different types of sacrifice including sacrifice of praise, worship, material and works.
He noted that through sacrifices, God rewards and blesses abundantly those who do sacrifices no matter how little, while saying that those who do not make sacrifice have themselves to blame as everything comes from God and it is expected that they give back to God through sacrifice.
At the Divine Mercy Chaplaincy, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku Awka, the Chaplain, Reverend Father Justin Ezechukwu encouraged Christians to embrace righteousness and sin no more.
Reverend Father Ezechukwu who stated this in a homily said that being the fifth Sunday in lent and last before Holy Week, all should examine their lives to know if they really joined with Christ and if found wanting, they should draw nearer to God in penitence now that they have second chance .
He charged the parishioners to also let go of whatever wrong one did to them and all past negative attitudes and focus on the future so as to attain life eternal.
