China reports 281 new coronavirus cases

BEIJING, 5th March, 2022 – China reported 281 new COVID-19 cases on the mainland, the national health authority said on Friday.

Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted the National Health Commission as saying that there were no new deaths, leaving the death toll at 4,636.

Mainland China has reported 110,539 cases so far.
