China reports 1,235 new COVID cases

China reported 1,235 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the National Health Commission said on Tuesday.

Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted the National Health Commission as saying that there were no new deaths, leaving the death toll at 4,638.

Mainland China has reported 157,378 cases so far.
