“Justen and I were in an extremely serious car accident on 2 March where Justen sustained several life-threatening injuries.

“Justen has undergone major life-saving surgery and is currently recovering in ICU under the watchful eyes of the attending doctors and staff.

“However, he still has extreme injuries from the accident. We do not have any indication at this time regarding how long he will still be in hospital, but further surgery will be required once he is stable enough,” she wrote.

IT WAS UNCLEAR HOW LONG HE WOULD BE IN HOSPITAL AFTER ACCIDENT

Friends, family members, and fans started fundraising for Justen and his wife.

“We currently have huge medical bills due to hospitalization and surgical costs and I anticipate that his further hospital care and rehabilitation costs afterward will be extensive as he will be in recovery for months.

“These costs will be difficult for us to cover, especially in the coming months since Justen will not be able to generate any income for quite some time. Above all of the medical costs, we still have our monthly living costs to consider.

“I just really want him to get better and come home and to be able to provide him with all of the necessary care that he will need,” Lee-Ann said.

THE NEWS OF HIS DEATH CAME AS A SHOCK FOR MANY
